WORKSHOP: SEEING COLOUR
CREATE YOUR OWN COLOUR PALETTE


DESCRIPTION

What are the new color stories for the future? And what do they mean for designers?
How can they develop color palettes that take into account sustainable choices in the design process that go beyond aesthetics?

In what ways can nature inspire them in creating strong color concepts?You will get to work yourself, using nature and the outdoor environment as a classroom. You will investigate colors found, for example, on tree trunks, decaying branches, mosses on tiles or leaves. The colors and materials are collected and analyzed through sketching and painting.

PROCESS

Based on research, you will work out individual color palettes and color compositions; you will observe, experiment and work on your own color story for the future with the goal of eventually applying it in your own design.

RESULT

At the end of the workshop you will present your own process, color palettes and color compositions. You will then reflect together and give feedback to each other
